Our Toy Boxes are extremely durable to any abuse you can give it. The bottom is solid wood and will never fail. The safety hinge makes it especially safe with young children. The lid will never fall from where you leave it. And if a child were to climb into our toy boxes, they are safe, because we construct them so they are "NOT" air tight. It is finished with a brown, hand rubbed oil finish.
